I have been advising the Quantum Owners Club that this conversion is possible. A few Quantum Coupes are now having problems with their sunroofs due to the age of them. These roofs were installed without drain tubes running down inside the car and thus once the rubber seals fail, water collects on a ledge below the glass and spills out over the driver when cornering.
This sunroof was the electric type and easy to remove in one piece. I had already taken a mould from my own car and was able to produce a new roof section to be installed. Once fitted, fibre-glassing the section in was fairly straight forward. A part respray of the car to blend the roof in and all was finished. The customer of this car will be installing a new headlining, which is available from Quantum Kit Cars.
