08/04/12: We’d like to thank our customers for their patience while we were closed. We've put in an extra floor to give a much bigger storage area above us, where we can keep moulds, raw materials, spare parts etc. This will greatly increase the floor space we have available to work in. 12/03/12: The factory will be closed from the 19th to the 23rd of March inclusive. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but it's necessary while we extend the factory to give us another 1000 square feet of space. 03/03/12: Apologies again for the lack of recent updates, but it's been incredibly busy here. From mini-motos to classic farm tractors and everything in between! Hopefully we'll get a bit of spare time soon so that we can post up some new words and pictures of what we've been up to. We’re also in discussion with Track Developments, a local motorsport engineering and suspension specialist, about some exiting joint ventures in the future... 27/12/11: Over recent months here at Dynamic Mouldings, we have received many requests to take on production work for other businesses who need composite work undertaken but who cannot produce such items. As can be seen below, we have responded to this and are now producing mouldings for other specialist companies. If you need our help to complete your projects or orders please contact us. As you can see here, we take on the small to the large. We can work from engineers drawings to produce a mould and then go to production as with the blue swimming pool push boards here which also needed a high grip surface, or we can work from your own moulds as shown by the seat bases on the floor in the picture.
This Quantum had the misfortune of a Ford Ka running into the back of it. Completed under an insurance claim for our customer, this car was repaired and put through a local bodyshop for painting in just 6 days. Not only was the initial impact site on the boot lid repaired, but we also undertook further work to the rear wing, front wing, nose cone and passenger door.
14/11/11: With a continuing increase in work load here at Dynamic Mouldings, I can now announce that a new member of staff has now joined us. Robin Jenkins has come to us having 10 years of production experience in a variety of laminating tasks. This good news has in turn allowed us to now take on production runs of specialist mouldings from local companies who are grateful to have a GRP specialist company near to them here on the outskirts of Bristol. 03/10/11: I am pleased to announce that after requests from Quantum Owners for door card trims, here they are. The red sections are the moulds that have been taken whilst one set of black door cards are the originals supplied to me by a customer and the other black set have been produced from the red moulds.
This is the RoboMow car as built by Edd China from Wheeler Dealers. This car is here to metamorphosise into another being, watch this space!
05/09/11: Sorry for the lack of recent updates, we’ve been very busy in the workshop: The Scimitar GTE Restoration and Our Projects pages have been updated. GT40 Bonnet Repair and MASCAR Crash Repair pages have been added. More to follow soon! 02/07/11: A very successful open day here at the workshop. It was nice to see so many customers and friends. As hoped, many previous customers bought their vehicles to exhibit and several new orders for parts and services were taken. Thank you to all who supported and attended this event. 09/05/11: OPEN DAY Announcement I am pleased to announce that on Saturday 2nd July 2011 from 10am to 5pm there will be an open day here at the workshop. The open day is to show you the work that is done here for not only Dynamic Mouldings but also Quantum Kit Cars. I am pleased to inform you that the Quantum Owners Club will be in attendance, along with the trim shop that I use and Autoglym. There is also a possibility that a Formula 1 simulator will be here as well. Refreshments will be provided by the on site cafe that offer a large range of food and drink. I have also had previous customers commit to bringing their cars along to show others the quality of my work. So place this date in the diary and please come along, Kit Cars, Race cars and classic cars are all welcome. Please contact me if you are bringing a car club, so that I can arrange parking. I look forward to meeting you. The Scimitar GTE, MASCAR and Our Projects pages have all been updated. 21/02/11: Quantum Sunroof Removal completed. 19/02/11: I would like to pass on my thanks to LNR Motorsport, whom I sponsor, for letting me loose in one of their MASCAR race cars. I had a very enjoyable experience driving what is a miniature NASCAR. These cars are powered by a 1300cc motorcycle engine and are left hand drive like their bigger cousins. Add in the fact that I got to drive this machine on slick tyres in the wet and it was fun all the way. I am very pleased to say I did not damage their car either.
08/02/11: It has been a busy time here at Dynamic Mouldings recently. The Plenum for a new building in London has now been finished and installed on site. This month, we reveal some of the work that we do for our customer who takes part in the MASCAR racing series. The 2011 championship is soon to start. Check the MASCAR Bodywork page for more information. It is also with great pleasure to announce that all the moulds and parts for Quantum Kit Cars Ltd are now with us. Very soon the new telephone line for Quantum will be installed and full support to the Quantum owners will be provided. Remember if you are part of ANY kit car club that needs GRP services, even for classic kit cars that no longer have manufacturer support, give us a call or send an email, you may be surprised at what can be repaired or restored. 7/12/10: We are pleased to announce that Edward Ruskin, founder of Dynamic Mouldings has taken over the reigns from Quantum Heritage Ltd, to form Quantum Kit Cars Ltd.The new company will be supporting the older Quantum models, that Edward Ruskin is very familiar with, as well as taking the company forward with new models in the coming years.
